Banjar Hot Water Spring

Banjar Hot Water Spring is a nature hot wellspring from the ground and it is believed can heal the disease. Its water is accommodated at one small swimming pool encircled by unique rural nature. This water spring is designed with water douches in different place. Banjar Hot Spring is located in the village of Banjar, Buleleng district. Banjar Hot Spring is one of the hot springs of many attractions in Bali can be visited by you and other travelers

The hot water source is coming from Mount Batukaru where the water is not many containing or felt the brimstone and mostly this places is visited by local people. There are 2 ponds with the warm water that make hot water as an ideal for having bath. The waters are naturally a very pleasing temperature and have high sulfur content. The whole experience here is extremely therapeutic and cleansing.

Hot water is sourced from natural springs that are considered among many to cure various skin diseases, such us scabies, athlete’s foot, ringworm, and tinea. Likewise, that hot water can be used to cure skin diseases due to sulfur content. Banjar hot springs attraction is still managed in a simple, but doing so does not create attractions that rely on nature is not necessarily less desirable visitors. Many of them are addicted to come again and again is due to visit hot springs can cure the diseases but also its natural state is still beautiful. Even many of the visitors who soak in hot water are due to shade and water clarity.



Banjar hot spring is estimated to have been there for hundreds of years ago. When the Japanese occupation, the hot springs is better addressed and maximized the role and function. Japanese government when it was built at least three water storage pond for a bath where the water they use to cure skin diseases. And the presence of hot water is maintained up to now.



The opening hours are from 8 am to 6 pm daily. It is better for coming early in the morning for really enjoying natures and far away from crowded, when the Hot Spring still quiet and just few persons that will be around. Changing rooms and lockers are provided on site. The tourists are not allowed of using soap and nude here. The tourists are also required for keep clean Banjar Hot Spring.

Hot tubes are divided into three sections with different height levels. Hot water in the pool first eight showers passed through the mouth of the dragon. Whereas in the second pool of hot water poured into the pool through the five dragon fountain. To the pool when it was rare to see visitors who lined up to enjoy the three fountains that flowed from height of 3.5 m.

The high water fountain keeps the body as if massaged by the water so that the visitors love being in the bottom. Average depth of the pool is as deep as one meter. As with any other hot water baths, hot spring at Banjar village is believed to cure some skin diseases.

A cozy restaurant is located on the grounds of the hot springs where you can have a good lunch against low prices.  At the right side under the elevated restaurant are a few changing cabins, cramped and rather smelly, and an outdoor shower can be found adjacent to the largest pool. There is a small temple at the spot where the water wells up from the ground, encased by a low, stone structure.
